Hey guys and welcome to a new post!
So I've been starting a lot of posts the last couple of days and not being really happy about posting that just yet, I feel like I need more time to work on them so I don't want to just make a quick post and put it up. The good news is I have loads of ideas to work on! Just that I need to find one that I want to work on right now.

So I bought this new camera (Fujifilm Finepix J10) at a charity shop for £3 with the only problem that it didn't have a charger so as soon as I was free from college that is what I set out to do. I searched for places that sold camera parts and it was really hard to find it as most places just printed photos for you but they didn't really have camera parts. I bought a charger on Amazon that said it was for my camera, but when it arrived the next day, it was not even near fitting so I had to return that to get my money back. By the time all of that had happened I noticed it didn't even have a battery in it so that created even more problems.
Finally I phoned this place up that I found on the internet and at first they never answered but the phoned me back and the man said that he did have the charger, but not the battery, he said he would have to order it and that I should go down there to put in a deposit so he can order it.

The very next day I went down there straight after college and he said that he could give me the charger and battery but it wouldn't be worth it because the charger cost about £25 and my camera was only worth about £10. So he asked me what my budget would be and suggested I buy a different camera which already had the battery in it and the charger was going to be delivered to him the next day. I accepted this offer because I had spent the last few days waiting and waiting to be able to use my camera and this one was even better. The one I got from the charity shop had 8.2 Mega Pixels and the one he gave me has 16 Mega Pixels (which is a Nikon Coolpix S3100) and I had been wanting a Nikon camera since I learned I had an interest in photography.
The next day I had a long day, I had to return the camera I got at the charity shop, go to the post office to return the incorrect charger and go to the camera shop to get the charger for my Nikon. You'd think this was easy but each thing was in a different town to which I had to get a bus to go to each place. In the end I decided to keep the Fujifilm so that one day I can save up and get the battery for it.
I went to the post office and in the queue I met this lovely old lady who was telling me stories about when she was younger, she made my day because we were so similar, it was like she was an older version of me. When we finally got through the queue, I delivered my package and said goodbye to the old lady and set off to get the bus to the camera shop, I had less than an hour to get there before it closed but I was sure I was going to make it. And I did. The man gave me a universal charger (meaning it can be used to charge any battery from any camera) and told me that if I ever need anything, any help with the camera or anything, that he's there to help me. I told him about my interest in photography and he said that cause he's studied for 7 years and worked in the shop for 10 years to take photos and then go down there so he can give me his opinion and some advice to help me improve.
I had such a lovely day and I've been taking photos with my new Nikon ever since! I'll show you guys a couple I have taken.

I've only gone for simple photos so far and I found this vintage colour in the settings which I loved and that's why I have taken most of my photos so far with it. Tomorrow I might be going to the center of London so one of my next post could be about that, you'll find out!
